Precautions for the use of fitness equipment

When using fitness equipment, it's important to be safe and operate it correctly. Here are some key considerations to help you avoid injury and improve your training results:

Warm up: Warm up for 5-10 minutes before using the equipment (e.g. jogging, dynamic stretching) to activate your muscles and raise your body temperature.

Understanding the equipment: Before using the equipment for the first time, read the instruction manual or consult a trainer to familiarize yourself with the functions of the equipment and the correct way to use it.

Checking the equipment: Check whether the equipment is in good condition before use. If there is any looseness, damage or abnormality, stop using it immediately and inform the management.

Progressive: Start with light weight or low intensity and gradually increase the load to avoid sudden increase in intensity leading to injury.

Stay focused: Avoid distractions (e.g. playing with cell phones) and concentrate on movement and breathing.

Breathe correctly: Exhale when exerting force and inhale when relaxing, avoid holding your breath.
